Thank you for visiting Hibiscus Children’s Center. Whether you’re here to learn, volunteer, donate, or find help, we’re glad you’ve found us. Since 1985, with the support of our community, we’ve been rescuing and protecting children across the Treasure Coast. As a licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Florida, Hibiscus has provided over 500,000 safe nights of care and supported thousands of families in crisis. Hibiscus Annual Gala
The Hibiscus Children’s Center “Candlelight Ball” is the annual premier Gala event in Vero Beach this season!
This elegant black-tie event will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 6PM at the beautiful clubhouse at Oak Harbor.
A Night of Southern Elegance
This occasion is set to be the ultimate celebration of glamour, fun, and excitement as we take over the venue and fill the air with the thrill of the gambler’s life. Gather your best gaming buddies because this is an event you won’t want to miss!

Your Donations Matter
Become a Hibiscus Sustainer
Each month we incur ongoing expenses as any household with children would. These expenses add up quickly and can overwhelm our budgets. Some of these costs include hair cuts/styles for kids in our care, birthday celebrations, honor roll and other educational accomplishments to be celebrated, allowances and positive reinforcement goals, and school pictures.
Donate in Memory/Honor
Thank you for helping Hibiscus Children’s Center to fight child abuse and provide life-changing services to abused, neglected and abandoned children. Your tribute donation will honor someone special to you and at the same time, provide traumatized children with the critical care and services they need, including professional mental health counseling and specialized sexual abuse treatment. Thank you for helping children to heal and for giving them the priceless gift of HOPE!
Donor Advised Fund
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. If you have a donor advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend gifts to Hibiscus Children’s Center, directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating). A DAF is set up through a community foundation or a national company like Fidelity Charitable, Schwab, etc. Please speak with your advisor on how to get started setting up a DAF.
Stock Gift or Cash
Contribute Cash or Transfer Stock to provide an immediate gift to Hibiscus Children’s Center. You may receive an income tax deduction and avoid capital gains tax.
