A Small Note
I have worked with the Palm Beach County Library System (making hand-made cards and writing inspirational messages to send out to seniors in need during Covid-19 isolation period), The Batt School (leading and organizing activities for the preschoolers, including a Build-Day, as well as tutoring elementary school-age kids in math and english), Johan Kriek Tennis Academy (serving as an assistant coach to kids ages 6-9 by directing them through drills/activities and improving their groundstrokes/serve), and my own will (painting my community’s entrance sign) to benefit my community.

I chose to donate my time because I have a fond appreciation for little kids and love working with them to help them learn new skills (whether it be improving a forehand or converting decimals to fractions). Additionally, I have an artistic side and have always gravitated towards creating unique designs using multiple mediums of art (pastel, pencil, marker, paints, etc.). For this reason, I truly enjoyed making 74 individualized, unique cards ( as well as creating meaningful, witty messages inside) for my local library and re-doing my community’s sign, because I was able to fully utilize these artistic skills.

In the future, I plan to to pursue a business major. I love analyzing information and finding creative ways to give back.
