The Goal is to Help Each Foster Children
NextGen NextGen focuses on connecting foster youth with the right specialists to help them break through barriers and reach their goals. A series of programs assist before, during, and after foster youth ages out of the system.
Transition Services 14-18
Adolescent youth need help, especially because at this point in their life they will be exposed to so much and they need people to help them navigate the rough road ahead. We offer the following options:

- Networking
Transition Services 18+
When a child turns 18 the rule of life change, everything that he or she does they are held responsible for. This being the reality foster children are provided a series a people that will help them along the way to minimize struggles and frustrations.

College Prep & Guidance
Foster children are challenged daily to learn the skills to pass the tests to achieve the grades their college of choice is looking for. As each year passes, it becomes more challenging to gain college access. If a child has the vision and desire but just can’t get to the next step well, we are here to help.

- College Application assistance
- Understanding grants and scholarships
- College prep (before and during)
Vocational Skills
Not everyone is made to take on college but other opportunities are available. Specialized curriculums have been developed in the following areas:
- Welding
- Culinary
- Graphic Design
Life Skills
It is surprises to most people that taking out the garbage is a fundamental life skill but for a lot of children that level of understanding is lacking. This and many other skills are needed to help foster children through life.

Mental Health Resources
Therapy is one of the most intense programs made available to our children. In most cases children are reluctant to participate but studies have shown with the right intervention change is possible. Areas covered:
- Divorce or separation
- Death of a loved one
- Trauma
- Bullying
- Sexual abuse
- Emotional abuse
- Physical abuse
- Family or child relocation
